• Woven Shibori is an incredibly special process. While the fabric is being woven, the pattern is created with a strong resist thread that is woven into the fabric. When the fabric is taken off the loom, this thread is then pulled tight. The pressure of pleats will resist the dye in the dye bath, creating beautifully organic results.
• This garment is fully traceable from seed to sew: Cotton is grown and spun in the US. The fabric is then handwoven and dyed by hand in Glens Falls, NY by Tegan of Comfortcloth Weavers.

• Made with Serged Seams throughout and finished with a Raw Silk Bias around the neck
• The weight of this fabric is lighter than any of our handwoven sweater fabrics, yet heavier than our raw silks. It makes a great base layer under sweaters or jackets in the winter,  and it is a perfect stand alone piece year round!
