Shipping + Returns

SHIPPING

All Domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International. Please be aware that you may be responsible for additional customs fees charged by your local post office upon arrival in your country. We are not liable for lost packages once they have left our studio. Because all of our garments + textiles are produced in house, we ask that you allow 2-4 weeks from date of purchase for us to ship your item(s). Hand Dyed, Woven, or Marbled items may require additional time for delivery and are stated within the item description.

RETURNS

We gladly accept returns for online purchases within 14 days of delivery. If it is outside the 14 day window, we can offer store credit for the return if it is within 4 weeks of the original delivery. We cannot honor exchanges or refunds after four weeks. Please return unworn merchandise with original tags, invoice, and packaging. Please note that if any item is returned in a condition other than how it originally left our facility, a Cleaning + Restocking Fee may be deducted from your refund or store credit amount. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All returns must be authorized by Jamie + the Jones. Please send your return request to support@jamieandthejones.com with your order number and list of items you would like to return.

Raw silk beauty

I was lucky enough to grab this is one of the discontinued colors, along with two of the silk tops, and it made me wonder why I hadn’t purchased the silk earlier!

The fabric is substantial and feels luxurious. The drape is perfect. Easy to dress up or down.

The easiest and most comfortable dress to wear

I simply love this dress. I've wondered about it for years but always talked myself in to buying different pieces and moving it down on my wish list. Wow...how I wish I had bought one sooner. It is made in the usual amazing raw silk J&J is known for and is easy to dress up or down. I've worn it with flat boots and high wedge boots, dressing it up with different jewelry, and I'm looking forward to wearing it with sandals in the summer. The fabric is easy care and is great to pack for trips. The sizing guide is excellent in helping to determine which size is best for you...the length especially. This is an investment piece that I know I will enjoy for years.

It's 2019 and we still have to beg for dresses with pockets.

First things first - wearing this dress is the sartorial equivalent of eating your favorite comfort food. This is a terrific throw-it-on-and-go dress. When I put this dress on, I'm not constantly adjusting it to get it to hang the right way or worrying about the hem sticking to my legs and creating a wardrobe malfunction or feeling like I need to be extra mindful of a delicate fabric. No, when I put this dress on, I feel like I can just breathe and go about planning to conquer the world. :)

However! I do have to deduct a star from my rating due to there being no pockets. It's 2019! There's the well-known meme about women wanting bodily autonomy and pockets! What do we have to do to get pockets in our dresses??? (I ordered a scrap bundle and had a local seamstress add them to my dress. This is probably not an option for everyone.) Please please please, I beg you to consider adding pockets - or even just the option to add pockets - in future iterations of this dress.

Easy, versatile

This is a go-to dress for me, whether I'm working or playing. It is super comfy and easy to dress up or down. Pick the size based on the length you want. All the raw silks are so easy to care for that you don't have to worry about where you wear their clothes. I've gardened in this dress and worn it to work!
